The film was also produced by Ghai and written by Sachin Bhowmick, Subnash Ghai, and Kamlesh Panday. Yuvvraaj is a Indian film that was directed by Subnash Ghai. ![]() The director said that he wanted the film to send a message about how arrogant and complacent the youth of the new generation in India had become. Yuvvraaj was based heavily on the motion picture Rain Man, where it gets many of its themes. One of the brothers is mentally challenged and it is he who has been left all the money, so the other two attempt to scam him out of it but learn something profound about themselves in the process. They are all very clever but arrogant and selfish and attempt to con each of their brothers out of the fortune so that they can have all the money for themselves. The motion picture follows the stories of three brothers born into a fabulously wealthy family. Indeed, only a year after its release it was added to the library of the Acacdemy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is quite a distinguished honor. The film was poorly recieved by most critics and flopped badly at the box office, despite these set backs the film later developed a devout following. ![]() Yuvvraaj was released in the 21st of November in 2008 in India. ![]() ![]()
